Overview:

Abstract: This work examines the various possibilities for wood supplements and reflects the
current state of the art. In the process, Wood Rod additions, molded additions, CNC
additions, CNC milling and the additive process are considered.
The supplementation methods were each applied to the same defect in a wall decoration.
applied. The results were then evaluated using numerical and qualitative criteria. The
criteria include time, cost, weight, material and additional additional relevant factors. The
aim of this study is to evaluate both the suitability of the additions as well as their work
process. The results show that the additive process performed poorly. Although the CNC
milling machine has specific areas of application, for not necessary for common defects.
Wood Rod and molded additions still proved to be suitable alternatives, even though the
Wood rod supplementation achieved the best results. This paper provides an up-to-date
comparison of the current methods and offers a comprehensive overview for those who
wish to familiarize themselves with the subject.
