Zusammenfassung: | The former manor house Pesch was back‐built in spring 2011, caused of the upcoming brown coal mining. Numerous archaeological wet leather was found by the following archaeological excavation. This paper describes the recording of the treated leather fragments, conservation measures and the restoration of two shoes. Analyses to identify the species and the suture materials was performed in the studies. The specificity of these findings is the relatively good state of preservation and the mass of material. In the second part of this Diploma thesis was tried to discuss the ethical aspect of the problem of the conservation of mass finds. The current situation of excavations as a cause of the increased mass finds, will explained. In order to show options in dealing with masses of objects, the way of an archaeological find from the location to archiving and handling in various collections. For the critical consideration, the levels of value of an object were defined. Thereafter, the various possibilities for the treatment of an objects in general and especially the wet leather finds was discussed. |
