Zusammenfassung: In 1924/25, stone-plaster was applied above the base of natural stone in the northern axis of the Pergamonmuseum. As a result of the Second World War, there was much destruction which led to plaster cracks and breakout. In the long run, is the crack dangerous to the plaster which leads to more long term damage. Therefore and out of aesthetic reasons, the main focus of this thesis is to modify an additional mortal (stone plaster). And the additional mortal should be adaptable to the structure, texture and mixture of the surrounding plaster. The suitability of the additional mortal mixtures was determined by a subjective observation, physical-mechanical analysis and through the use of a value benefit analysis. Based on the above results and the assessments of other practical examples, the concept of conservation and restoration was derived.
