Zusammenfassung: | Since the middle of the 19th century, that, with some interruptions, archaeological excavations have been carried out at the royal palace at Ingelheim am Rhein. In the course of the actual Forschungsprojekt Kaiserpfalz Ingelheim, the caves within the area of the royal palace have been surveyed. In these cellars, it was possible to identify and document architectural remains of the palace. By the use of mostly digital documentation methods, a large number of cellars could be recorded within a relatively short time. Especially the photogrammetric documentation of masonry proved to be a helpful way to reduce the time needed for on-site work. The problem of tachymetric survey inside of narrow rooms could be solved by the construction of a holder for the reflecting mirror. |
