Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: The late Baroque pavilion of Hermansbau in Memmingen, Bavaria, is part of the Hermansbau ensemble along with its garden. It is a valuable and significant element of the city’s history from the late 18th century. The richly decorated stucco, walls, and ceiling designs of the interior are of outstanding quality, but have been severely affected by deterioration over the past 100 years. Investigations into the building’s structure and the interior with its stucco and decorative finishes through restoration assessments aim to provide clarity on the future treatment of the object.
