Abstract: An individual concept for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) has been developed in the workshop rooms of the studies of conservation and restauration with the specializing in document, book and graphic was developed. A possible risk on insect pests should be minimized.
An detailed analysis includes assessing the condition of the building envelope and the rooms for pest security. The current cleaning measures, the object analysis and the behavioural measures are also part of this analysis. The pest activity in the workshop rooms should be analysed by a monitoring. The evaluation of the building analysis and monitoring allows for a risk assessment. Based on the infor-mation from the building analysis, monitoring, and risk assessment, an IPM concept for the workshop rooms is developed according to the discussed of specialized literature. The IPM concept should be implemented by all employees and students.
The IPM includes a catalogue of revised preventive measures to be taken in the individual rooms, a cleaning programme, as well as behavioural measures and a quarantine plan to prevent pest risks. Further the monitoring will be carried out by students.
