Abstract: | Abstract The goal of this bachelor thesis is to define ideal conditions for a repository and, based on this, to develop a conservational concept for an interim storage facility in order to store and conserve the unused historical furniture of the Loccum monastery over a medium period of time. The actual concept for this interim storage facility for unused historical furniture differs great-ly from this definition of an ideal repository. The reasons for these deviations are the given conditions, which have had a strong influence on the conception due to local conditions and limited financial latitude. With the design of a climatic chamber, a concept was developed that conserves the historical furniture safely over a medium period of time and allows practical access to it. |
