The ´´Kleines Wartburgmodell´´, dated 1842, is a summarizing model of the actual Warburg in Eisenach. It is made from wood, paper, cardboard and plant materials such as moss and lichen. Most degradations are found in the paper and the plant materials. They are brittleand have many fractures. This Bachelor-Thesis providesa detailed description of the object’s extantas well as its condition. It also contains a concept for conservation. The main focusof this thesis lies onthe conservation of plant materials.
