Abstract: Subject of the present diploma thesis is the artwork o.T (untitled) (1991)- Herrenrad by Andreas Slominski. The Herrenrad is owned by the Museum für Moderne Kunst Frankfurt am Main. The object is extremely fragile with the consequence that it cannot be exposed for the time being. The aim of this examination is to point out the phenomena, explain their dynamics as well as to develop and carry out a coherent concept for the conservation of the bags made of polyethylene.
