| Abstract: | The present thesis deals with an exemplary conservation and restoration concept of measures for a Biram Anemometer produced in the 19th century, belonging to the collection of the Deutsches Bergbaumuseum Bochum. Besides talking about the historical context of the object, the thesis focuses on its construction and function. One emphasis is the examination of the material condition of the object, based on which a concept for its restoration will be established. Furthermore, possible ways of its presentation will be elaborated. |
