| Abstract: | The integration of missing parts is a contemporary issue in restoration. Aesthetics and the history of the object are playing a big role in this discussion. This bachelor thesis shows the restoration of a gothic calyx and its appending paten from the grave of archbishop Otto of Hessen. Their history and importance will be examined in order to create a concept for restoration. The objects are incomplete. |
