Abstract: The epitaph of Sebastian Leonhard von Schaumburg and his wife Euphorsyne is probably originated
around 1593rd. In its visual appearance, it shows highly weathered surfaces, the fragmentary state of
preservation of the male figure also heavily affected the original design statement of the epitaph.
Due to the installation situation of the epitaph is not presented to the public and it will not be used
liturgically, and therefore primarily for precautionary measures on the epitaph are meaningful. The
compiled as part of the Bachelor thesis proposals for conservation measures on the epitaph to
preserve the property from further losses and safeguard its present condition for the future. Also, it
is imperative the surviving fragments of the male figure to protect against further loss.
