Abstract: The so called „Keystone of Most“ is a wooden polychrome painted Tondo wich shows a motiv called „Anna Selbdritt“. This piece of art served as facing of a keystone in the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Marie in Most. Later it was showed in the Regional Museum of Most, wich is located in the church today.On the occasion of the project„Spätmittelalterliche Kunst in der Montanregion Erzgebirge“ five pieces of Art owned by the Regional Museum Most will be investigated in art history. Some selected pieces will be conserved and restored. The Tondo of Most is one of those selected pieces.The diploma thesis documents a detailed art-technological and conservational investigation. Based on results a concept was created and practically accomplished
