| Zusammenfassung: | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Problematic of depositing and exhibiting of synthetic stocking articles Original packaging of stocking items are stored in museum collections as many-sided and meaningful objects. The presented stock of the categories textile and everyday-design at the “Haus der Geschichte der Bundesrepublik Deutschland” in Bonn is shown in considerable extent. Originally packaged stockings are combinations of the materials polyamide, paper and different types of folio. The difficulties of depositing and exhibiting those objects are described at the beginning of this paper followed by the developmental history of the according materials and the manufacturing process of synthetic stocking articles. The last part gives a description of microscopic, chemical and physical-technical examinations of different aged polyamide stockings to determine how they are influenced by package materials. The results lead to assume effects on the ageing process of polyamide materials. |
