| Zusammenfassung: | The village Nehringen is the last preserved baroque ensemble in Western Pomerania. The person it is due to is Johann‐August von Meijerfeldt, the general of the once so‐called Swedish ‐ Pomerania. Between 1721 and 1726 „von Meijerfeldt” rearranged both the village and the St. Andreas‐Church in baroque style. The patronage‐loge of "von Meijerfeldt" originates from this period. It was placed right to the altar. This paper attends to the crest of the loge, which is, although severely damaged, still preserved. The carved, wooden emblem still has its original polychrome surface and thus it delivers to the differentiated done surface methods of baroque era. The basic cause of the lime‐tree areas’ deterioration is the "Anobium Punktatum". In consequence of these circumstances it is necessary to conserve the substance in order to conserve at least the lime‐tree objects from deterioration. Furthermore the surface methods get analysed. A selected area is being treated as a sample of the conservation and restoration procedures which both deal with conserving of wood and surface, and with the integration of the fragment into the complete works. |
