| Zusammenfassung: | This bachelor thesis treats with the preservation and restoration measures of a doll‐house from the 18th century. The figures are made out of paper which is stuck with textiles and is intended to be viewed only from a frontal view. The doll room has experienced several reworking phases which affected the object differently. The problems of different ageing of the housing and interior, as well as its following restorative conflation are treated here in detail. Also different damage phenomena, among other things like powdering painting layers, aged textiles, and old restorations are here described and explained. |
