Zusammenfassung: The subject matter of the scientific-practical part is room A with its extensive, well preserved inventory of mural paintings. By this, new insights concerning the mural oil paintings as well as the temporal classification of the paintings and the detriment problematique could be gained. A conservational concept for the first up to the fifth decoration phase was developed. The scientific-theoretical part is focussing on the summary of the research results and conservational measures, which took place in the castle during the last thirty years, as well as on the evaluation of the preserved inventory of paintings on walls and ceilings of this period throughout the whole castle complex.
