Abstract: In this diploma theses the cause become investigated for the massive contamination of mould at the equipment of the church of Peter and Paul in Reichenbach/ Vgtl. It contains twi different parts. The first part characterizes the identifkation of the materials of the polychromy. These materials used at the reconstruchtion of the polychromy in 1963. the investigations of the polychromy clarify the different distribution of the contamination of mould. The differences of construction and composition could decide the distribution of the contamination of mould. The materilas become identified and restricted by technical analyses and other methods of investigations. Microbiological tests become implement in the second part of this diploma theses. This tests clarify the utilization of the materials by the mould. The results schows the contions that the distribution of the mould could decide. In conlusions possibilities become mentioned for the removing of the mould and performing oft the preventive maintenance.
