Overview:

Abstract: An investigation of wall design phases was performed in the oldest eastern part of the Branch Church Hl. Johannes der Täufer in Rehberg (Lower Austria). Four wall design phases with polychrome elements could be discovered. A full-scale scenic, late gothic wall design phase was drawn under further investigation. Restoration concepts for all rooms were elaborated and a pilot work was carried out on an exposed part of the late gothic wall design phase.
