Abstract: The plaster of the village-church (15th century, predominantly buildet with field-stones) was repaired several times; mostly with a new mortar layer. The actually situation is a side by side of bad conditioned mortars. The intention of the Brandenburgisches-Landesamt-für-Denkmalpflege is, to preserve them.
Subject of the work is to investigate the development of the church, to analyse the physically characteristics of the mortars and to document the results.
The physically and optically properties are compared with them of different materials to find out the best retaining mortar to flank the historical mortars and the best injection mortar to refill the hollow areas. The materials are also used in a test-field.
