Overview:

Abstract: With regard to technology, to state and to possible sources of the damage the mineral painting “The Last supper” of Heinrich Repke will be analysed. Therefore phenomenologically, climatically, chemically and microbiologically studies and physically properties of the painting are required. A conservation concept will be issued from the results obtained, covering cleaning and removal of the painting left over, fixation of the coating of paint, infilling missing areas and retouching. For this reason tests are practiced on the object directly. Then two patterns are produced.
