Language: Original   -   Translation
Abstract: The topic of this thesis is the use of the volatile binding media Cyclododecane in textile conservation. After a theoretical introducing part follows the practical examination of the use of Cylododecane on a silk fabric. First of all the different application methods of Cyclododecane (as melt, solution and spray) are tested, in order to apply it at certain points, linear and global. The main part of this thesis is the examination of the period of impragnation, which should make a wet cleaning possible. At last follows an examination of the residues of Cyclododecane and the used solvent at the fabric.
