The thesis deals with motorcycle boots from the 1980s. It examines the cultural appreciation of the object and its unknown history. In addition, the individual materials are identified and the condition of the plastic elements are analyzed. The restoration measures include cleaning, consolidation and gluing. On the basis of the determination of the material composition, appropriate climatic conditions and adequate packaging for the storage of the property are proposed.
