Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: This thesis deals with the examination, as well as conservation and restoration of a small painting "Portrait of an middle-aged man" from the first half of the 19th century. Dealing with multiple image carrier violations in the heavily oxidized vision carrier took a large share as a measure for this work.. In particular the question how to reconstruct the part of total loss of the portrait was a problem to solve.
