| Abstract: |
Subject of the thesis are the vault paintings found in room 1-2. Unlike the other paintings inside the Torre Guevara, they have never been revised. This adds a special material/ technological value to them, in addition to their art historical importance. The thesis investigates and documents the current condition of the paintings, and elaborates on a conservation/ restoration concept with regards to the preservation of the original substance and their authenticity as well as the final presentation of the room.
