| Abstract: | This Bachelor-Thesis will provide a discourse about the options for the restoration and conservation of a locket. A discussion concerning the synthesis will set the historical meaning of the object in relation to its functional or representative meaning. With reference to the actual extant and condition of the object, a recommendation will be provided for its restoration and conservation. The description and technical investigation of the different materials of the object plays thereby a significant role. |
