| Abstract: | For about 13600 plaster fragments which were found during an excavation in the east apse of the monastery ruin of Bad Hersfeld a system was constructed to manual joining. Besides a basis could be created to computer‐aided assembly in collaboration with the Fraunhofer‐institute. Beside the production of a conservation draft the major task insisted in it on developing a reversible imbedding system to be able to issue the fragments. For this different paper masses and plasters were tested. |
