Abstract: Practical Part:
Development of a concept for the transfer of a recently detached GDR wall painting onto a mobile support.

Theoretical Part:
Overview on the state of the art of transferring detached wall paintings onto mobile supports. Based on the discussion of the concept of an interventionlayer and the treatment of the mural substrate the author develops a treatment concept for the object concerned.
