Language: Original   -   Translation
Abstract: Up to now, the registration, description and systematisation of characteristics of Wallpapers originating from the End of the 19th century till the middle of the 20th century has not been possible due to different reasons. With this Master Thesis, there will be developed a widely transferable registration system to systematise the aesthetic and material characteristics of wallpapers, referring to two lectures during the Master course in Conservation and Restoration science. This registra-tion structure will be also tested practically. The test object belongs to a multi-layered wallpaper ensemble found at the historical building of the Hotel „Zum Dreibeinigen Hund“ at Görlitz.
