Language: Original   -   Translation
Abstract: The diploma thesis gives an overview of the potential hazardous materials in restoration of mural paintings. Besides developing a catalog of hazardous materials, this paper contains a summary of the statutory rules of the safety provisions for workers, as well as regulations concerning the handling of hazardous chemicals.

In addition to the dangerous materials contained in working supplies, this paper also encompasses descriptions of materials which can be found in the air, on mural paintings and on surfaces. Material classification, methods of identification, analytical methods and, furthermore, measures of prevention are provided to support these points.

The catalog of hazardous material includes the materials’ characteristics, hazardous potentials, ways of reception and, moreover, measures of prevention.
