Overview:

Abstract: This bachelor thesis concerns with the historical features and decoration of the chapel of the castle Bückeburg, which is located in the north wing.
In the processing period of the inventory and condition of the wood paneling and the wall painting at four selected sections will be recorded and documented. Furthermore, the influencing factors of the environment are considered and evaluated, as the chapel is a public use property detail. For this purpose, climate data loggers were at the beginning of this work, also for further investigation of the HAWK Hildesheim, installed. With these data, initial statements on the prevailing climatic conditions are to be created.
