Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: This bachelor thesis concentrates on the appraisal of wall and colum fragments of the preceding building of the contemporary minster at the Huysburg. The emphasis lies on the mural painting fragments dating back to the 13th century. Damage on the paint and on the metall support as well as the necessary cataloging of retrieved single pieces give reason to the conservational survey. The appraisal results relative to surface, material and technique as well as the damage conditions and their causes are described to develop a recommendation for a lasting conservation concept. Structural-physical appraisals and natural scientific analyses were made in addition.
