Abstract: This study considers with the possibilities the consolidation of charred oak wooden sculpture result of a fire exposure. The start on follow the description of the condition, to find out the reason of damage the thermal conditionally physical and chemical change of the wood on the object. It shows that a cubic fire structure is developed of the radial cuttet wood. It present them as very porous, fragile and instable. Partly solve cubes out the compound and other charred sector breaking out after the smallest shock. The basic for the choice of one suitable impregnation material was the following development level of charred oak wood. Based on and complemented of own practical trial´s could the study of consolidation the
black surface with Paraloid B 72 dissolve in Toluol and Shellsol T enough solidify. For the support of the single cube area `s would additionally black putty developed. Based on a test series, would three putties with the same filling material in different binding material choose and enquired of change on volume in change in climate. Finally will discuss the test results in view on the possibilities to applicable on the object.
