Natalie Kesik: Resistance to atmospheric attacks of coatings on wood in comparison. Development of a surface-covering method for two external doors in the Sanitarium Dr. Barner, Braunlage. Back
Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: This essay will analyze the resistance of common and artificially produced wood treatments to weathering.
A proper coating procedure for two external doors of the Dr. Barner Sanitarium originally spawned this research interest.
Samples of wood treatments were exposed to natural and artificial weathering conditions for specific time periods. The scientific results and aesthetic coloring of the wood formed the criteria for the choice of wood treatment to be used for the sanitarium’s doors.
