Based on non-invasive conservation studies and scientific analyses, a concept was developed and tested, aiming to preserve the inventory and ensuring an aesthetically appealing and historically accurate presentation. A comprehensive review of the history and inventory, as well as an analysis of the environment, the regional climate and microclimate, moisture and pollutant input, and the resulting understanding of the complex damage mechanism leading to various overlapping damage phenomena and the accompanying detailed assessment of the preservation state form the basis.
